How it works

1

Choose paper and pattern

Select a paper size and pattern set. The preview and PDF will match your selection.

2

Print at actual size

Download the test sheet PDF or open it in your browser’s print dialog. Print at 100% actual size.

3

Inspect and record

Print the sheet, then inspect the color patches, gray steps, lines and text. Record what you see.

Example

A4 color + grayscale → matching PDF and preview.
The 50 mm line should measure 50 mm at 100%.

Questions, Answered.

Does this measure ink levels?

No. It provides visible test patterns, not an ink-level or hardware diagnosis.

Will grayscale use only black ink?

The printer driver decides how RGB grays are reproduced. Grayscale selection does not guarantee black-ink-only printing.

What if the 50 mm line measures differently?

Check that the selected paper matches the loaded paper, print at 100% actual size, and turn off fit-to-page scaling. Driver and printer margins can affect output.
